Where I wrote #8

It’s been a while since I’ve kept the world informed of my writing habits. I know. Edge of seats stuff. Fear not though, the writing hasn’t stopped, just the navel gazing.

But stuff has happened. I learned about the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org, and moved my stuff to ORG land. Suits me over here. Wish I hadn’t got confused in the first place.

Anyhoo. I digress. I been writin’ all over the place, as is my custom.

In doctor’s waiting rooms on a Sunday. Don’t do it people. Wait for Monday when you can make an appointment. Even with my trusty notebook, the hour and a half wait dragged. And the wait was not worth it. But more on that in another blog post (cos yeah, everyone wants to hear about my bung eye).

I also wrote in my local doctor’s surgery on a Friday. BUT, on the opposite extreme, I barely had time to write, so there was definitely no time for a sneaky notebook selfie.

And, how about this. I wrote at home. On the couch. Luxury!

I even put a fancy filter on this photo. I think I was procrasti-filtering?

So, speaking of procrasti… I have been struggling with this weeks PB challenge theme of “Sleep”. I had the unfortunate “too many ideas” problem. Sounds terrible, doesn’t it?

Sitting in the backseat (9yo called shotgun) on the way to hockey today, decisiveness hit. And I wrote the whole thing in almost one go.

Not quite though. Had to finish it up while the kids warmed up before the game. Sat on a damp seat to do so. Would do that again. Beats writing standing up.

PS. No filter. Although that’s probably obvious… I am a pretty crap photographer.

Righto, time to go rest my bung eye. Looking forward to telling you all about it. Toodles.
