Today was not a high word count kinda day. 180 words.
But they were joining words. They joined up my middle with the climax I’d already written.
No, I don’t write out of order… but I did originally write this book as the second half of another book. Then I decided to split them, so I had the ending mostly – well the climax anyway.
So, today I joined it all up. Which is helpful.
And tomorrow I need to finish it up. Unfortunately, the very last chapter got used in book 1. So I need to write a new last chapter.
For some reason that seems quite daunting. So, I wrote down some ideas. And I wrote the first 6 paragraphs. Hopefully tomorrow, when I need to write the whole thing, that will make it less daunting.
My plan is to stick those first 6 paragraphs in my head. Then go for a run. And hopefully I’ll shake something out. And then tomorrow morning I’ll write down what shook out.
