Herewith is a list of stuff I got done today:
- Pulled apart two pieces of hard rubbish furniture and repainted them. Mr 10 helped, which made it much more fun. The items are:
- A full length mirror with a door that opens for jewellery storage.
- And one of those funky old telephone tables with the drawer and the cushion.
- Moved some furniture back into our house – coffee table, dining table, bar stools.
- Showered (big achievement some days).
- Drove to other side of town with the fambam for a delightful 1st birthday party. Detour to major shopping centre for gift (Oh gosh, you guys. I bought Animalia and Mopoke. Did not want to hande them over!)
- Found a couch on gumtree. Went to visit it. Mr 10 negotiated a bargain price of $200. Paid owner a deposit. Need to figure out how to get it home. Will it fit on the train?
- Second coat of paint.
- Moved to inflatable couch.
- Watched True Memoirs of an International Assassin with the fam. So funny!
- Looked at facebook marketplace for an inordinate amount of time. Specifically at retro furniture that I love and husbando will not, but because he’s the best, he’ll say “do it!”.
- Wrote a PB on the theme of “sun”. Concept 8/10, Execution 6/10. Not unhappy. nano-NaNoWriMo done for today.
- Wrote (lazy) blog post. Potentially falling asleep at computer. Not sure.
