The sun has been shining of late in good old Melbourne town. I don’t even know how to write in the sunshine. I’m used to huddling up in a blanket watching sport with fingertips braving the elements to move the pen over my notebook.
So, honestly, the opportunistic writing that I was doing has dropped off significantly. Other parents are around at sport, and we’re all happy and warm and chatty. Plus, the kids just don’t have as many sports in summer as they do over winter.
But, I did get some writing in. Because I am up to date with the 52 week challenge and I DO NOT want to get back behind.
So, I wrote at the races. Just for a bit.
And I wrote in the car.
I also wrote on the floor in the lounge room, then finished that story the next night sitting on the stairs to the back deck. No photos though – see, I AM out of whack!!
