You know those weeks where your normal routines are thrown out the window? Those weeks that seem to stretch on forever?
I just had me one of them. I even had to check the dates on my photos to make sure I wasn’t cheating,
I wrote on the train…

…on the way to a Saturday lunch with friends. Can you believe it? On Saturday where normally I have a million sports to ferry kids to?
I was so excited, I took 2 photos!

And then, because in Victoria, we are building stuff, I got to get off the train and catch a bus the rest of the way to the city.

In a bus, everyone faces the same say, so I could see EVERYTHING on everyone else’s screens. I very nearly got so distracted that I forgot to write. There was a guy with extremely short hair watching a tutorial on man buns. How am I meant to write with stuff like this going on?
And then, by magic, our bus arrived MUCH earlier than expected, so I had some glorious, park writing time. This, my friends, is the holy grail of opportunistic writing.

OK, so then one whole day later, I was watching the over 45s men “run” around for their first football game of the season, and I found me some writing time while the husband showered. He is always the last one out.

I had a couple of ideas while I ran this week. “Hey Siri, start voice recording!” What would I do without Siri?

And finally, I sat down and wrote today up in Byron Bay.

What a week! Where did you write? Do you tell your ideas to Siri too?
