Well, I almost decided to sleep instead. But here I am at 5.30am. I put some words on the page, but I’m not convinced they’re the right ones.
Yesterday, I potentially made a bit of progress.
But here’s the thing. It’s a picture book. And I’ve used about a million too many words.
I’m exaggerating.
And now, I’ve just had a terrible thought. What if it’s not a picture book. What if this is a junior fiction. What if it has been all along?
